Unfly

I don't wanna fly, to fly could be to fall
All that i never try, won't hurt me at all
I sit in this chair, and the world spins me around
Now falling through the air, head thrust into the ground.
And maybe it's a shame,
But really who's to blame...
I'm burning alive, underneath a wave of the sea
Where coral treasure lies, there you can find me
I don't wanna be free, to be free is to lose me somehow
All i could ever be, is closing in on me now.
And maybe it's a shame,
But really who's to blame?
If the world is in me.

Kandinsky

He said he knew Kandinsky,
in his heyday at the Bauhaus.
He was charming as a coral snake,
and as cozy as a crab louse.
He said he had a date with the boys downtown.
You should've seen his face when all the shit went down.
Some noise across the skyline,
made his head feel like an el train.
In a sports bar down on Water Street,
he was pouring down like summer rain.
They added up a tab that he could not pay.
He could hear the people say,
"Everybody knows, you're a stranger here.
Everyone can see it in your eyes.
Everybody says, Stay away from here!
Everything you value is all that we despise."
Well, he felt just like DeSoto,
when he reached the Mississippi.
He was posing for a photo,
to send back home on his birthday.
He thought he had it all, but his dreams never came true.
You could see the hole where all his plans fell through.
"Everybody knows, you're a stranger here.
They can tell you by your suitcase & your shoes.
Everybody says, Keep away from here!
All that we require is only that you lose."
By the time his ship was long gone,
he was on his way to Hong Kong,
With his feet nailed to the deck boards,
like a statue playing ping pong.
He serenaded the crew with his crazy song.
All the sailors sang along.
All the sailors sang along.

Cowdown

The cow is down below the moon
Hoping her lady will get here soon
Bringing her dreams like breakfast in bed
Crying her way through the night
Now is the time for us to sleep
Consigning our souls to the deep
Pull down the shades, put out the light
Heaven is all in your head
